Comic #120 - When Little Kids Won't Stop Staring

Though still incredibly annoying, even when grown adults stare at you from across coffee shops they do at least turn away looking slightly embarrassed once I've made myself comfy and stared right back. Children though don't have that sense of shame that goes with realising that the person you're staring at realises that you're staring at them.

Working part-time behind a food counter in a supermarket has taught me that children will stare at you regardless of just about everything. Sometimes if you smile, they'll smile back. Other times they'll just continue with that unphased, wide-eyed stare even when you're touching your nose with your tongue, and they'll never blink either. It's fairly unsettling.
